Dr. Betsy Keller collaborator on $423.5K grant from NIH

Dr. Betsy Keller, Professor in the Department of Exercise and Sport Sciences is a collaborator on a $423.5K grant from NIH with primary investigator, Dr. Maureen Hanson (Molecular Biology, Cornell University) entitled "The Relationship of XMRV to Functional Status and Co-infections in Chronic Fatigue Syndrome". 

XMRV is a retrovirus found in prostate cancer patients and more recently in patients with CFS. This study will examine, in part, the impact of exercise stress and fatigue on the expression of XMRV in CFS patients.
