The Peace Corps - named one of Business Week's "Best Places to Launch a Career" in 2009 - offers an exceptional opportunity to put your education, experience and abilities to work internationally.

People from all fields find relevant work in the Peace Corps.  While serving abroad for 27 months, you receive a phenomenal international experience that compliments your degree and life experiences.  You also gain valuable skills helping others help themselves. You receive a monthly stipend, transportation, medical and dental care, and a readjustment allowance at the end of your time abroad.  Returned Volunteers also receive non-competitive eligibility for federal jobs.

Students from any major may find interesting positions through the Corps, especially if you have interests in: business, education, environmental sustainability, cultural studies, social sciences and foreign languages.

Learn more about career opportunities with the Peace Corps during an information session on Monday, Sept. 13 at Noon in Career Services.  Space is limited, so please reserve a seat using your eRecruiting account.

Individuals with disabilites requiring accommodations must contact Career Services at 274-3365 or 101 Muller Center to request accommodation.
