Job-shadow a local professional - signup with Career Services!

If you'd like to meet someone who works in a profession of interest to you while learning more about that career field, signup for the 4th annual Take an Ithacan to Work Week.  You may be able to attend client or staff meetings, share some ideas for a project or go to lunch with your host!

During the week of September 27, students will spend a day with a local community member (who may be an IC Alumnus/a!) to see what a typical day entails for their host and to make a networking connection.

Opportunities exist for many professions, however we often are not able to find job-shadow hosts in the medical, allied medical or counseling fields due to confidentiality regulations.  Students must submit a printed copy of their resume with their job-shadow registration form.

Sponsored by the Ithaca College Office of Career Services in partnership with Students Today Alumni Tomorrow, the Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce, the Society of Human Resource Management and the Ithaca College Community & Local Alumni group.

For more information on Take an Ithacan to Work Week, please contact Career Services.
