The Ithaca College Chapter of Food for Thought is hosting Ithaca's 1st Walk for Plumpy'nut on October 9, 2010 at Cass Park. The Ithaca College Chapter of Food for Thought is hosting Ithaca's 1st Walk for Plumpy'nut on October 9, 2010 at Cass Park.
All proceeds from the walk will be used to purchase packets of Plumpy'nut for Concern Worldwide's feeding centers in Ethiopia. Plumpy'nut is a therapeutic food that is used to save severely malnourished children.
Registration begins at 10 a.m. and the 5k walk begins at 11 a.m. Registration is $10 before the walk, and $12 the day of the walk.

The first 60 participants that register will receive a t-shirt and the first 100 participants that register will receive a reusable tote bag.
There will also be free food, Gimme Coffee, and raffle prizes!
