To help battle the cold and flu season, the Office of Human Resources is again partnering with the Hammond Health Center to offer seasonal flu shots for all benefits-eligible employees at no cost.
Beginning next week, all Ithaca College benefits eligible employees may receive a flu shot at one of the following scheduled times and places:
These will be walk-in clinics with no appointment necessary. As we cannot predict the turn out, please plan to wait cheerfully for your turn, if necessary. We will continue to immunize anyone who is already in line at the time the clinic is scheduled to end.
We will add additional dates and times as needed, after we see what the initial response is to these clinics. The clinics listed above are for faculty & staff only, student clinics will be scheduled separately. Employees are asked to bring their ID card when they come for their shot.
IMPORTANT NOTES :
• Employees MUST dress appropriately to receive a shot in the upper arm (ie. wear short sleeves, sleeves that can easily be rolled up, or layers).
• Bring your ID card when you come for your shot.
• We are providing the 2010-2011 seasonal influenza vaccine, which includes protection against the H1N1 virus.
In addition to these announced dates, the Health Center will be present to give shots at the HR Benefits Fair on November 4, 2010 (more details to come!).
