Associate Professor of Music Theory Rebecca Jemian has been elected to a 4-year term as Associate Regent of Pi Kappa Lambda.
She was selected by the Board of Regents and voted in at the annual meeting of the society’s members. Jemian has previously served as the local chapter’s Secretary-Treasurer.
Pi Kappa Lambda is the only music honor society to hold membership in the Association of College Honor Societies. Ithaca College’s chapter, Alpha Nu, was established in the early 1960s. The highlight of every year is the induction of selected juniors, seniors, and master’s students who are in the top percentage of their class and chosen by faculty who are members of Pi Kappa Lambda.
