This week on Wednesday September 29th, instead of our normal meeting place, Spectrum will be meeting in Textor 103 at 7PM to watch Laramie Inside Out, a movie presented by the LGBT Resource Center.
Laramie Inside Out: In October 1998, Wyoming College student Matthew Shepard was brutally beaten and left to die. The horror of this murder pushed Laramie, Wyoming into the media spotlight and sparked a nationwide debate about homophobia, gay-bashing and hate crimes. Filmmaker Beverly Seckinger returns to her hometown to see how this event has affected Laramie and its residents.
Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Spectrum at SpectrumIthaca@gmail.com. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
