The Ithaca and You programs showcase the Ithaca College experience for about 1,500 prospective students and family members each year. In an effort to better accommodate prospective students and families visiting campus for these major open house programs, O and U lots -- in front of Phillips Hall and adjacent to the Roy H. Park School of Communications -- will be reserved for our guests from 5:00 a.m. until noon on Monday, October 11 and Thursday, November 11.
Faculty and staff who usually park in O or U Lot are asked to park in Y Lot or the lower lot of the South Hill Business Campus, across Danby Road. We also suggest carpooling or taking advantage of TCAT service on these days.
Continuous shuttle service to and from Y Lot, the lower South Hill Business Campus lot, and the circular drive in front of Textor Hall will be available from 6:30 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. on each of the two days.
Last year, we received tremendously positive feedback from our guests about how welcome they felt while on campus. The willingness of our faculty and staff to forgo their usual parking spaces for these two important days made a very favorable first impression and we hope that our campus community will once again make this accommodation.
