The Sustainability Café on Monday, October 25th will feature Diane Cohen from the ReUse Center speaking on "Finger Lakes ReUse: Starting Up a Community Organization."  The Café will be held in the Center for Natural Sciences Room 112 from 4:00-5:00PM. This event is free and open to the public.

Diane Cohen is executive director of Finger Lakes ReUse, a non-profit organization committed to improving community, economy, and environment through reuse. She has been working in nonprofit management since 2001, and helped develop Finger Lakes ReUse in collaboration with Tompkins County Solid Waste and many other community partners. Incorporated in 2007, and opening a ReUse Center in 2008, the organization has begun to realize the social value and community building potential through reusing and refurbishing unwanted materials, such as building materials, furniture, household items, and computers.
