On Sunday evening, October 10, 2010, the Ithaca College Chapter of Up ‘Till Dawn will be hosting a major event to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in the Emerson Suites from 4:30-9:30PM.
Along with food and entertainment, there will be several activities that we feel would be very attractive to children of faculty, staff and community members. Specifically, there will be a professional clown, balloon animals, a bounce house, a sundae bar, games, prizes etc.
The great news is that tremendous inroads are being made in the fight against pediatric cancer each and every day. One of our goals this year is to involve more families and to establish a culture of giving around this very important cause.
Although all events are free, even if a child can only donate a few pennies, it begins a lifelong commitment to generosity, love and community. We will be sending out pre-written letters to family and friends asking for donations, as well, so you can also bring addresses if you wish.
