Three Ithaca College Physicians to Present at New York State College Health Association Meeting

The Ithaca College Student Health Service is pleased to announce that three of its physicians will be representing Ithaca College with presentations at the upcoming New York State College Health Association annual meeting to be held at the Sheraton Syracuse University Hotel and Conference Center from October 20-22, 2010.  

• David E. Newman, M.D., Director, will be presenting Psychiatric Prescribing in College Health: Anxiety and Major Depressive Disorder on Wednesday,October 20th;  

• Andrew R. Getzin, M.D., Head Team Physician, will be presenting A 2010 Update on Stress Fractures  and Common Hand and Wrist Injuries on Thursday, October 21st;   and 

• Erin M. Hall-Rhoades, M.D., Assistant Director, will be presenting An Evidence-Based Review of Asthma Among College Students on Thursday October 21st.

This annual meeting promises to be an excellent learning and networking opportunity for college health professionals, students, and colleagues interested in college health. We are proud of the contributions being made by our physicians at this gathering of college health professionals.
