Dean Diane Gayeski recently presented her research and experience on “Gen-Y in the Workplace” to an international audience at the fall online conference of the International Society for Performance Improvement and to the Rochester chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.
In her session titled “My Students Today Are Your Learners Tomorrow: What Can Performance Improvement Practitioners Learn from Higher Ed?,” Gayeski discussed what factors have shaped gen Y, why they behave as they do, how they prefer to learn, and what leads them to high performance.
