Prof. Julia Cozzarelli delivered the keynote speech at Montclair State University for the Teaching Italian Symposium: Technology--Getting with the Program, on Friday, Oct. 15th. Her speech focused on the theory and practice of integrating multimedia, in particular YouTube videos, into the Italian language classroom. Following the keynote speech, she and Prof. James Pfrehm held a workshop for conference participants. Entitled "Using video, music and film to enhance the Italian language learning experience," the workshop covered textbook web resources, YouTube, and Web 2.0 technologies and services, such as blogs, voicethreads, and Overstream.
