This presentation will open your eyes to new worlds of water. We will view films and animations that are poetic and profound, with insights that can help us re-imagine our relationship with this essential resource.
MARA ALPER is an award-winning media artist and Ithaca College professor, who teaches “Water = Life” as an online course at Ithaca College.
Artist HELENA COOPER will screen her close-up photographs of water. Each is a tribute to the colors and modes of water here in Ithaca.
JOE SMELLOW’s music and LANG ELLIOTT’s NatureSound Studio will provide natural soundscapes.
