Special Training Series for Student Organization Web Site Managers

Students who manage web sites for student organizations at Ithaca College can take advantage of a new service ITS rolled out this fall: Student Organization Web Profiles. Starting Wednesday, October 20, ITS will offer a special series of training sessions on using this service at no charge in the Technology Learning Center (room 101 Friends Hall). The training covers everything you need to know to build an attractive web site for your student organization quickly and easily using the Web Profile Manager, such as: editing the intro page, building custom sections, adding images, creating photo galleries, adding documents, changing themes, publishing news, and managing blogs.

ITS offers computing workshops every week on a variety of topics in the Technology Learning Center (101 Friends Hall) at no charge to all faculty, staff, and students. Support for Persons with Disabilities: The ITS Technology Learning Center (TLC) in room 101 Friends Hall is accessible by wheelchair and includes a workstation that can be raised or lowered for optimal computer access. Support for visual and hearing impairments is also available.
