Come celebrate Campus Sustainability Month with funk-rock band Revision and campus environmental organizations this Thursday, October 28!
October is Campus Sustainability Month, and what better way of celebrating than with supporting our local and campus community! Revision, made up of three Ithaca College music grads, will be coming to celebrate with us by playing at a FREE show in Emerson Suites on October 28th. Doors open at 7pm.
Along with hearing amazing music by this band that tours nationally, you'll get the chance to stop and get info on our main environmental groups and sustainability initiatives on campus and did I mention FREE FOOD?! Yes, dining services will be providing some tasty refreshments for all you funk-rock fans.
In addition, we will be holding a recycled costume contest in between sets with some sweet prizes from Sew Green, a sustainable clothing and fashion rescue in downtown Ithaca, for the winners! Come in your best dress if you want to win.
So mark your calendars and make sure you attend. It's going to be tons of fun, admission is free, and since it's sustainability month, if you bring a recycled bottle with you and present it at the admission table, you'll be entered in a raffle to receive one of Revision's just released cds! Pumped? You should be.
See you there.
