Want to know more about Living Wage? Want to know how you can be part of a campus living wage campaign?
Lucky for you, students from the Labor Initiative in Promoting Solidarity (LIPS) and Community members including Pete Meyers of the Tompkins County Workers’ Center will be hosting a teach-in about the living wage movement, the community Living Wage Coalition, and the “All Campus Living Wage” campaign at Ithaca College for dining services workers.
At 7pm on November 2nd in Textor 103 the slightly blurry storyline of living wage and campus movements will become clear and point to why YOU matter in giving all campus workers a living wage.
Come out and learn how you can support, be part of, and know the facts on, the “All Campus Living Wage” movement.
This event is free and open to the general public.
Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact the Labor Initiative in Promoting Solidarity, laborinitiativeic@gmail.com or call Organizing Coordinator Kiera Lewis at 802 380 0857.
We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
In Solidarity.
