On Wednesday, December 1st at 7:00PM, Mark Buckley, VP of Environmental Affairs for Staples Inc., will relate “Staples’ Sustainability Story”. This lecture, which is free and open to the public, will be held in Room 111 in the Park Center for Business and Sustainable Enterprise.
Buckley directs Staples Inc.’s environmental commitment and sustainable business practices to protect and preserve natural resources. He is responsible for the company’s environmental leadership in four major areas: the purchase and promotion of recycled content products; chain-wide recycling initiatives; energy conservation programs and renewable power procurement; and educational initiatives for customers and company associates. Mr. Buckley will discuss how Staples Inc. has come to regard sustainability as a strategic business advantage.
This event is hosted by the Ithaca College School of Business as part of its Sustainability Speaker series. Mr. Buckley’s appearance was made possible with additional support from Staples Inc. and Sustainability at Ithaca College.
