The Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival in the Division of Interdisciplinary and International Studies was one of 19 media arts organizations invited by the National Alliance for Media Arts and Culture (NAMAC) to participate in a specially convened Open Dialogue on innovations in media arts exhibition on November 17, 2010.
The Open Dialogue on Media Arts Exhibition was a showcased, live chat online based on open space technology where participants generated issues to be discussed. Participating organizations included the Wexner Center for the Arts in Columbus, Ohio, the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, and the Video Arts Association of Dallas. NAMAC members and other media arts professionals could introduce questions for the invited participants in this fast-paced, idea generating dialogue.
