12/09/10

Contributed by Samuel Gates

Music by Jason Robert Brown, this song cycle features an amazing score about those stories where you have to take that step and make the choice - to enter a new world.

Would you like to travel on a steam train this weekend?  Or a 1492 Spanish ship?  Experience the dreams and hopes, stories and tragedies of the characters of Songs for a New World this weekend.  Vince Pagan directs this masterpiece about the turning points in our lives by Jason Robert Brown, iSing's final production for the fall semester.

Performances will be this Friday and Saturday at 8 pm & Sunday at 2 pm, in Beeler Hall in the James J. Whalen Center for Music.  Tickets are on sale at the door, $5 for general admission. If you have any questions or concerns, email ising@ithaca.edu.
