Thanks to all who have already signed up to moderate sessions at NCUR 2011! With well over 1500 oral presentations accepted for this conference, we need the help of many, many more of you. Please consider being involved with this exciting event that promises to bring outstanding young scholars to our campus.
NCUR 2011 will bring more than 2,500 students and faculty to the IC campus and this three-day conference will feature student seminars, performances, and poster presentations, as well as plenary speakers and special events. We will need hundreds of faculty and staff volunteers to serve as moderators for oral presentation sessions.

What is expected of the moderator?
Each oral session consists of four 20-minute talks, with 15 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for questions. Your role is to

What is my time commitment going to be?
Each session runs for one hour and twenty minutes. We encourage you to sign up for more than one session, but appreciate your willingness to participate in any session. The sign-up form contains the days and times available.
How will I know my assignment?
In the spring semester, you will receive an email from the Oral Sessions committee with your day, time and room. Further information about room logistics will also be provided.
