The Office of Facilities Purchasing is offering for sale a vehicle released from the IC fleet on a sealed-bid basis.
Bid forms are available at the Office of Facilities or the Transportation and Grounds dept. fleet garage.
Vehicle #561 may be inspected Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Office of Facilites parking lot. Complete service records are available at the Office of Facilities Purchasing Department, Facilities Building. This vehicle will be sold in as-is, where-is condition without guarantee and without any expressed or implied warranty.
Vehicle #561 2001 Chevrolet Lumina, 4-door sedan, 110,195 miles, green with gray interior, 3.1 liter/6 cylinder engine, AT, PS, AC, Cruise, ABS, AM/FM radio, power door and window locks, exterior body in good condition except for five holes in the roof plugged with bolts and silicon (due to removal of emergency light), interior in fair condition, engine in good condition, needs tires and a battery.
All bids should be submitted in a sealed envelope. Bids must include vehicle #, bid amount, bidder’s name, address, daytime telephone, date, and signature and should be submitted to: Gail Wagner, Ithaca College Office of Facilities Purchasing, 953 Danby Road, Ithaca, NY 14850 by 5:00 p.m., Friday, January 15, 2010.
Ithaca College Office of Facilities Purchasing reserves the right to reject any/or all bids. All bidders will be notified as soon as possible after the bid closure date.
The successful bidder is responsible for payment to the Ithaca College Office of Facilities in cash or preferably by check made payable to Ithaca College prior to picking up the vehicle. The vehicle must be removed from the college premises within one week after notification and purchase. No NYS sales tax will be added to the sale price; sales tax must be paid to NYS Department of Motor Vehicles if registering the vehicle. A bill of sale, NYS Affidavit of Sale, title, keys, and service records will be given to the successful buyer after payment at the Office of Facilities.
