Faculty Mentoring Across the Academic Continuum

The Center for Faculty Excellence in conjunction with the All-College Committee on Faculty Development invite you to attend the upcoming panel discussion on Faculty Mentoring Across the Academic Continuum.

When: February 23, 2011  from 12:00 pm – 12:50 pm

Where: Taughannock Falls Room

This interactive panel discussion features Ithaca College faculty from across the academic continuum addressing the following questions:

  1. In what ways have you served as a mentor/mentee?
  2. How have these roles evolved over time?
  3. What are the challenges  that you have experienced while serving in the role of a mentor/mentee and how have you overcome them?
  4. What resources do you need in order to enhance your success in the role of mentor/mentee?.

There is no registration required and this event is open to all Ithaca College faculty members interested in mentoring either mentor or mentee.  Participants will be able to interact with one another during this session.  There will be an opportunity to join currently ongoing peer mentoring groups.
