CPMA Professor Ron Jude's photographs published in the fifth edition of Stone Canoe: A Journal of Arts, Literature, and Social Commentary

A selection of photographs from by CPMA Professor Ron Jude's emmett project are featured in the most recent edition of Stone Canoe. An exhibition of this work has been installed at XL Projects Gallery in Syracuse to commemorate the journal's launch, with an opening reception on Saturday, February 12th from 5 - 8 pm.

A display of artwork from the fifth edition of Stone Canoe: A Journal of Arts, Literature, and Social Commentary, will be on display beginning Jan. 26 and run through Feb. 20 at the XL Projects Gallery, 307–313 S. Clinton St., Syracuse. The gallery is the downtown art space for SU’s College of Visual and Performing Arts. It is open to the public Wednesday-Sunday from 12:30-6 p.m. The works of the artists participating in the fifth annual exhibition reflect the journal’s goals of commitment to diversity and community partnerships throughout the Upstate region.

Stone Canoe Number 5 features the work of artists and writers with ties to Upstate New York with international reputations. Lynette Stephenson, a professor at Colgate University, is this issue’s visual arts editor and curator of the current exhibition.
