Participation in the Ithaca in Washington, DC Program is an excellent way for you to make a difference in any field and boost your resume.

Past IC in DC interns have had unparalleled opportunities to work on national issues with some of the nation’s best and brightest in non-profits, advocacy groups, political organizations and the federal government.

We challenge you to use this summer to work on an interest, important to you, in an experiential-learning environment immersed in the history, politics, and culture of our nation's capital. Moreover, through your internship for academic credit, you will acquire a depth of knowledge about a profession, experience practical applications of your major, and develop awesome professional networks for your future.

Come to an information session and meet with students who have participated in the program and learn about the value and excitement of spending a term in Washington,
