Help Shape the Future: Attend the “IC Benefits Experience"

Lights, Camera, Take Action!

The All-College Meeting held on January 20 focused on “Ithaca College as an Employer”. As part of this focus, HR introduced several initiatives that were coming up in the spring 2011 semester. We would like to invite all faculty and staff to attend an “IC Benefits Experience” session that will provide an opportunity for participants to learn and interact around the topic of the benefits that are provided to IC employees.

The “IC Benefits Experience” will be held on Thursday, March 3rd in Emerson Suites. Show times to be announced soon. Each show time will be 60 – 90 minutes.

The sessions will have three main goals:

  1. To provide information and education about the current make up and costs that IC allocates each year to employee benefits (health, retirement, tuition, etc.),
  2. To share information about current and future trends regarding health care and benefits (costs, description, new directions, etc.), and
  3. To allow participants to walk the red carpet to participate in our movie themed interactive activity allowing each to “nominate” priorities and possible new directions and offerings of benefits at IC.

Come participate in the movie themed interactive experience, eat popcorn, have a soda, and get a chance to win “real” movie tickets to the theatre!
