“Our electives have been carefully designed to allow students interested in pursuing careers in music the experiences needed to hone and expand upon their interests, as well as investigate new areas of interest,” said Tom Kline, director of music admissions and preparatory programs. “The program is also designed to give students who do not wish to pursue a career in music the option to have a quality summer music experience. The Summer Music Academy is an important first step in establishing the new School of Music Preparatory Division, which will continue to grow with future offerings during both the summer and academic year.”
