Participation in the Ithaca in Washington, DC Program is an excellent way for your students to make a difference in any field and boost their resumes. The Director of this program will be here this week to answer any questions at the meetings listed below. The Fall deadline is approaching so if you are interested, please apply as soon as possible.
Past IC in DC interns have had unparalleled opportunities to work on national issues with some of the nation’s best and brightest in non-profits, advocacy groups, political organizations and the federal government.
We challenge your students to use this fall to work on an interest, important to them, in an experiential-learning environment immersed in the history, politics, and culture of our nation's capital. Moreover, through the internship for academic credit, your students will gain work experience in their major, and develop awesome professional networks for their future.
Have them come to an information session and meet with students who have participated in the program and learn about the value and excitement of spending a term in Washington.
The Information Session will be held in the GPS Lounge (Rm. 069), on the garden level of Peggy R. Williams Center on the following dates:
Wed., March 23, 6-7pm
The Orientation Session is also in the GPS Lounge (Rm. 069):
