Patricia Zimmermann named Columnist/Blogger for the National Alliance of Media Arts and Culture

Patricia Zimmermann, codirector of the Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival (FLEFF) and professor of cinema, photography and media arts, was recently named a featured columnist/blogger for the National Alliance of Media Arts (NAMAC) and Culture, the largest and most prominent organization for festivals, museums, media arts, and foundations in the United States.

Zimmermann will write monthly columns about debates, dialogues, and developments in international public media, across its analog, digital and emerging forms.

Zimmermann's ongoing blog for FLEFF, Open Spaces, will serve as the incubator for stories and writing for NAMAC.  The Open Spaces blog features stories, essays, profiles, interviews, research, and musings on openings, closings, and thresholds of analog, digital and emerging international public media.
