TOMORROW, Thursday, April 14th: Sara Benincasa is performing in IC Square at 8 p.m. Sara B is known for using comedy to tell her story and call attention to issues. She is “funny with a purpose,” you could say. Not too many “your mama” jokes, but she can do a mean impression of Sarah Palin.
Friday, April 15th: Minute to Win It. Come to SAB and IC After Dark's combined event from 9- Midnight in Emerson Suites and put your random skills you never thought would come in handy to good use! This event is so big, it has its own Intercom announcement. Possibly like, a lot of them. Don't ask.
April 26th: Moshe Kasher is performing in IC Square at 8 p.m. and Jonathon Schuta (Stand Up Competition winner) will be opening for him. I don't know comedians that well, but 1- I trust SAB's comedy chairs and 2- I've heard that he's mad funny.
April 28th- May 1st: Last movie (unless I’m wrong) of the year- Come see No Strings Attached in Textor that weekend.
Apply to be on SAB! There are a bunch of great positions, ranging from Budget to PR (you could be writing these lovely Intercom announcements... what?! No way, I know!) to special events! Where do you get them, you ask? Check out our facebook page (I don't have a link... so just search it) or go to the Student Activities Center (Third floor campus center) and pick one up!
