The Ithaca College Ballroom Dance Team hosted their second annual Dancing with the Stars competition and fund raiser this past Saturday, April 9th.The Ithaca College Ballroom Dance Team hosted their second annual Dancing with the Stars competition and fund raiser this past Saturday, April 9th.
In all, seven professors from across the campus were paired up with members of the team and worked for two months to develop and perfect routines in various ballroom and latin styles. The night was a great success with over 250 attendees.
Awards were given for the first three places as well as People's choice.
Third place went to Deniz Dalman from the department of Marketing and Law; Second place went to James Pfrehm of German Language and Linguistics; And first place went to Dawn Pierce of the department of Vocal Performance. People's Choice was awarded to biology lecturer Esther Racoosin. Honorable mentions go out to Tom Swensen, Mara Alper, and Vincent DeTuri.
