Academic Enrichment Services is recruiting peer tutors for Fall 2011 and would appreciate your assistance in identifying students who you think have the skills and personality to be tutors.
If you have students in mind, please encourage them to attend one of the tutor information sessions being held this week. If you feel it is appropriate, making an announcement in your classes about the tutoring program will help spark interest.
Information Sessions are scheduled for Wednesday, April 20 from 7:00 to 7:45 pm and Thursday, April 21 from 12:05 to 12:50. Both sessions will take place in the Ithaca Falls Room of the Campus Center and dessert will be provided.
Tutor recommendations can also be sent to Mel Jensen, Coordinator of AES Tutoring at mjensen@ithaca.edu
