Anna Stephan-Robinson, visiting assistant professor of music (theory and sightsinging), gave a research presentation at the Regional Scholars Conference in Colorado Springs, Colorado on April 16.
The conference was a joint meeting of three regional music organizations: the Rocky Mountain Society for Music Theory, the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the American Musicological Society, and the Southwest Chapter of the Society for Ethnomusicology. Dr. Stephan-Robinson's paper was titled “Semitonal Voiceleading and Tonal Allusion in the ‘Elegy’ from Britten’s Serenade for Tenor, Horn, and Strings.”
