Join us for a talk-back on Saturday, April 30 after the 2 pm matinee performance of BABY. Baby's Musical Director Joel Gelpe will talk about the show's innovative approach to story and music and its place in the evolution of the modern musical in the 1980s. He'll also discuss the longtime collaboration of Richard Maltby, Jr. and David Shire, and how BABY fits into their body of work. Joel Gelpe, the Music Director for the BFA Musical Theatre Program at Ithaca College is a composer/lyricist, conductor, pianist, and vocal coach, as well as a musical theatre historian.
