"Cloud computing" refers to the growing number of programs and resources available on the Internet that may be used as an alternative or supplement to standard computing applications running on desktop or laptop computers. Using the tools of cloud computing, you can keep, store, and share saved files on the web with free programs such as Google Docs, Dropbox, Amazon Cloud, WeTransfer, Microsoft SkyDrive, and Teamviewer. On Thursday, May 5, from 4pm to 5pm, the Technology Learning Center (room 101 Friends Hall) will offer a demonstration of cloud computing. Learn how to live your life digitally and never lose a file again! To register online instantly for this special presentation, click the link below.
