The Student Leadership Institute is a series of interactive workshops designed to help students develop and refine personal and organizational leadership skills.
Leading @ IC is a new track developed this semester in the Student Leadership Institute. Unlike the other tracks, Leading @ IC is specifically designed to improve leadership skills and development within a student organization. The target audience for these workshops are student organization members.
We are in the process of looking for presenters (faculty, staff, or students) for the Leading @ IC series in the upcoming academic year. If you have any experience in or with a student organization and have a skill that you think will benefit members of student organizations please fill out the proposal form on our website at:https://www.ithaca.edu/sacl/osema/leadership/proposals/
Session Logistics:
All sessions will be held in "smart" rooms (with computers, CD/DVD players, speakers, and screens), so you are able to design your workshop to be interactive and engaging. Approximately 15-30 students attend each session.
Sessions are generally held during one of the following time slots:
Tuesdays, 12:15-1:00 p.m.
Tuesdays, 7:00-8:00 p.m.
Wednesdays, 4:00-5:00 p.m.
Thursdays, 12:15-1:00 p.m.
In the past, we have had presenter's lead workshops on a variety of topics that included: running an effective meeting, transitioning, IC Link training and many more!
