Farewell Reception for Mark Cordano, Associate Professor of Management

Please join us in thanking Mark Cordano for his service to the School of Business. Mark has accepted a position as Dean of the Girard School of Business at Merrimack College, north of Boston, and will be departing the college in mid-July.

 

We would like to invite any and all members of the campus community who have worked with or know Mark to join us in a celebration on Monday, May 16th at 5:30pm in the second-floor atrium of the Park Center for Business and Sustainable Enterprise.

Mark joined the School of Business as an assistant professor in 2002 and was promoted to associate professor in 2006. He holds a B.A. in psychology from Cornell University, M.B.A. in management/public policy from Indiana University, and Ph.D. in strategy, business environment, and organizations from the University of Pittsburgh's Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business. In the School of Business, Mark taught courses in strategic management, business and society, environmental management, organizational behavior, and human resources. From June 2009 to June 2010, Mark served as Interim Dean and led the business school through a successful maintenance of accreditation.
