Beginning this fiscal year, the Technology Renewal Program no longer provides no-cost replacements for Apple MacPro tower computers. Departments wishing to stay with the MacPro model will be charged the difference between the cost of the iMac and the MacPro (currently $1,000). Departments will need to regularly budget for this expense, and will incur this cost each time a MacPro is replaced (every 3 years).
