Ithaca College has been ranked among the top 10 colleges and universities that are “killing it” in social media. The website Best Colleges Online positioned IC as number 7 on a list that includes Harvard, Notre Dame, the University of Texas, and Johns Hopkins.
The site noted that while just about every institution has some sort of presence on social media, “there are an exceptional few colleges who have truly done great things in social media, becoming influencers and brainstormers online.”
The description of IC pointed out its active presence on Facebook and Twitter and made special mention of myIthaca, a feature that has a social networking community that incoming students can use to meet their new classmates.
