The vehicle may be inspected Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Office of Facilities dirt parking lot located east the Office of Facilities Visitor Parking lot off the Coddington Road entrance. Complete service records are available at the Office of Facilities Purchasing Department, Facilities Building. This vehicle will be sold in as-is, where-is condition without guarantee and without any expressed or implied warranty.
Vehicle #522 1994 Chevrolet Astro Van (minivan), 2-door with single rear door, 84,165 miles, blue with gray interior, 4.3 liter/6 cylinder gasoline engine, vinyl bucket front seats, automatic transmission, power steering, A/C, AM/FM radio/tape. Exterior body in good condition except faded paint and missing paint on engine hood. Interior in fair condition, no rear bench seats (open carpeted cargo area), cargo area carpet is stained, driver’s bucket seat is ripped, engine in good condition. Tires in fair condition.
All bids should be submitted in a sealed envelope. Bids must include vehicle #, bid amount, bidder’s name, address, daytime telephone, date, and signature and should be submitted to: Gail Wagner, Ithaca College Office of Facilities Purchasing, 953 Danby Road, Ithaca, NY 14850 by 12:00 p.m., Friday, July 29, 2010.
Ithaca College Office of Facilities Purchasing reserves the right to reject any/or all bids. All bidders will be notified as soon as possible after the bid closure date.
The successful bidder is responsible for payment to the Ithaca College Office of Facilities in cash or preferably by check made payable to Ithaca College prior to picking up the vehicle. The vehicle must be removed from the college premises within one week after notification and purchase. No NYS sales tax will be added to the sale price; sales tax must be paid to NYS Department of Motor Vehicles if registering the vehicle. A bill of sale, NYS Affidavit of Sale, title, keys, and service records will be given to the successful buyer after payment at the Office of Facilities.
