The Service Saturdays Program is a gateway to volunteer opportunities in the Greater Ithaca area. There is simply no better opportunity at IC to match yourself with an organization that fosters personal and professional growth, while making a contribution to your community. Join us on Saturday, September 10, 2011 for the first Service Saturday of the semester. The sites we will be volunteering at include:
– Southern Tier AIDS Program Ride for Life Preparation (1pm-3pm)
– Feed My Starving Children Meal Preparation Event (10am-12pm)
– Friends of the Tompkins County Library Booksale Preparation (9am-12pm)
– Ithaca Children’s Garden Work Project (10am-12pm)
Registration opens up on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 so sign up today by going to the OSEMA website and clicking on the surveymonkey link at the bottom of the page. We will see you Saturday the 10th.
