In late May the Phillips Hall Post Office was upgraded by the United States Postal Service.
Some of the benefits of the new system include the acceptance of credit cards for all transactions, capability to provide acceptance scans for all accountable mail, receipts automatically generated for transactions, and touch screen information on international shipments.
It is important to note that we will no longer be able to sell Postal money orders with this new system. As a result, we are in the process of establishing a new vendor for money orders and will communicate, via Intercom, when this service becomes available.
CFCU account holders can purchase money orders at their branch located in the West Tower. Additional options are the Downtown USPS branch located on Tioga Street near Starbucks, Wegmans and TOPS markets.
