Stuff the Bus is an event sponsored by the United Way of Tompkins County
Throughout the day on Monday, September 19, from 12:30pm until 4:30pm, a mini bus will be parked on the Academic Quad at Ithaca College, just outside of the IC Library and Campus Center, as part of the United Way of Tompkins County's "Stuff the Bus" campaign. We will be collecting donations of food, personal care products, and school supplies. Please help us out by donating some items to the drive on Monday and contributing to this great cause of helping out those in need.
Volunteers from the United Way Philanthropy Corps, the Ithaca College United Way student group, will be on hand to help collect donations and answer questions about the organization.
On Tuesday, the giving continues, as the "Stuff the Bus" vehicle will be driven down to Stewart Park in Ithaca for the annual Stephen E. Garner Day of Caring, beginning at 8am. A presentation by the United Way begins at 12pm that day.
If you're interested in coming to the Day of Caring, check out more information here, and if you'd like to donate to the "Stuff the Bus" drive, find more information here.
