Networking doesn't have to be scary.  The process starts by simply talking with people.  Find out how many Ithaca community members, including alumni, you can talk with in two hours at the CNY Network Night.

On Tuesday, Sept. 27 in the Emerson Suites, you'll enjoy light refreshments and maybe win a door prize from Ciao, Corks & More or Waffle Frolic!

The Central New York Network Night gives students the chance to learn about careers and the Ithaca community while practicing networking.  We use a speed networking format, so the evening is fun & fast-paced.  The professionals in attendance will be there to help you learn and to learn about you.  This is truly a supportive, educational networking event.  Students from all majors & class years are encouraged to attend.

Professional/business professional attire is required.  You can bring business cards, but please do not bring your resume.  Students must check-in between 5:15 & 5:30, attend a prep session & then network from 6-8pm.

Pre-registration is required and you can also connect with other students who are attending on our Facebook event page.

Also, consider attending the "Networking: What Is It and How Can I Do It?" workshop on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 12:05 PM, to get prepared for the event. (Reserve your seat on eRecruiting).

~Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodation are asked to contact Career Services at careers@ithaca.edu or 274-3365 as soon as possible~
