Max Dimoff, the principal bassists with the Cleveland Orchestra will be giving a master class on Friday in Hockett Recital Hall from 4:30 - 6:30, and then he'll be playing a solo recital in Hockett Recital Hall on Saturday at 4:00 in the afternoon. Mr. Dimoff's recital program will feature Diane Birr on piano. Together they will play some gorgeous, fun, and accessible music: four Brazillian pieces by Santino Parpinelli, Dave Anderson solo pieces, Faure, and Bottesini. Mr. Dimoff is an dynamic performer and an inspiration to hear. Both events are free and open to the public.
