Saturday, October 15, is the annual observance of National Latino AIDS Awareness Day (NLAAD).
It was established to draw attention to the critical role HIV testing and prevention education plays in stemming the spread of HIV/AIDS . NLAAD is a day of awareness and prevention of HIV/AIDS in Latina/o communities, and a time to renew our commitment to ending the spread of HIV and ensuring quality of life to those living with the disease. This year's theme is ", “Latinos Unite! Let's stay Healthy! Get Tested for HIV!."
