Joshua Bonnetta's film premieres at Toronto International Film Festival

Joshua Bonnetta, assistant professor in the Department of Cinema, Photography and Media Arts, premiered his film American Colour at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in September.

TIFF is recognized as one of the most important film festivals in the world. Professor Bonnetta's film screened in the Wavelength program which celebrates innovation and experimentation in film and video curating the best international avant-garde film and video works internationally.

A review of the program was mentioned in Artforum.

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) recently featured him on The National, focusing on his new film and teaching at Ithaca College.

In addition, his award-winning animation called Long Shadows was recently screened in Croatia. This 2009 short was featured in competition at the 25fps International Experimental Film and Video Festival in Zagreb.
