What is Colleges Against Cancer?
CAC is a national campus-wide organization that is recognized by American Cancer Society. Colleges Against Cancer helps fight against cancer through grassroots advocacy, prevention and early detection education, Relay for Life and many other activities honoring cancer survivors. CAC promotes the Great American Smoke-out (quitting smoking), breast cancer awareness, sun safety, and healthy lifestyle choices within our community. At each meeting, members split up into one of our various committees to give special attention to every aspect of our organization and Relay For Life.
Our first event of the year, The Pink Ribbon Ball, will be held this Tuesday, October 10th at 8:00pm in Emerson Suites! Stop by our meeting Monday to find out how you can help, or just show up on Tuesday to have some fun and show your support!
Any students with disabilities seeking accommodations should contact Meaghan Brophy or Amanda Brzezowski (CAC Co-Chairs) at cacithaca@gmail.com.
See you Monday night!
