Sometimes, words need help expressing grief, and crayons can be the perfect helper. So, if you've experienced grief and want a healthy way to express it without having to worry about how your friends will react, come to the Living with Grief support group.
Living with Grief is a support group for students who have experienced loss. The loss might have happened years ago, or perhaps more recently. Regardless, you are welcome to come and experience the benefit of connection with others who "get it."
Living with Grief meets the 2nd Wednesday of the month. The next meeting will be Wednesday, October 12th, 5:15 pm - 6:30 pm. The group meets in the Health Promotion Resource Room and can be found on the garden level of the Health Center. Enter through the parking lot side of the building by going down the stairs that lead to the Office of Counseling and Wellness. Once you're in the building, follow the signs.
Persons with disabilities needing accommodations are encouraged to contact LeBron Rankins, lrankins@ithaca.edu, as early as possible.
