One Biology and one Biochemistry Student receive the Thomas J. Metzger '02 and David C. Metzger '05 Undergraduate Research Fund

Larry, M.S. '87, passed away in September 2008 after a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer.  Larry was an inspiring leader and astute manager to Ithaca College.   In his memory, the Metzger family has established a Memorial Scholarship at Ithaca College, as well as a research fund in the Biology Department. 

• Adam Longwich, Biochemistry ’13 (Susan Swensen); supports his project on exploring the low copy s/t phos gene
   
• Rose Scavotto, Biology ’12 (Peter Melcher & Susan Swensen); supports her project on soil microbial diversity
